St Chad Sculpture for Lichfield Cathedral

The Sculpture and Art Foundation are proud to be working with Lichfield Cathedral’s Artist in Residence Peter Walker Sculptor throughout the development of a new Statue – a 3 metre bronze sculpture of Saint Chad.  This art work shall be the first permanent sculpture to ever be sited in the grounds of the Cathedral.

During 2015 we have already helped structure workshops and events coordinating key aspects of development.  we have been working with local schoolchildren, arranging guided tours, and talks engaging local people about the processes and development of the artwork as it is being created.
