What we do:
The Sculpture and Art Foundation C.I.C. creates opportunities for equal access to the arts, through community engagement projects. We increase participation, access and understanding of the arts within communities. We develop wide and international partnerships and an infrastructure of exhibitions, public art, productions, commissions, promotional/educational shows and events, galleries, workshops, and trails that benefit communities, artists and locations. We create new opportunities for artists in a local, national and international context. Furthermore we manage projects and offer consultation.
(All rights reserved. All reference to the trails and associated projects must refer to the Sculpture and Art Foundation CIC and relevant project funders/partners – please contact for enquiries).
The reason for the business is to engage members of the community with the arts, promoting the arts in all aspects culturally, socially, geographically and economically. The Sculpture and Art Foundation is a Community Interest Company, we are a not for profit social enterprise with funding received going back into the business and our purpose is always in the interest of the community.
The Sculpture and Art Foundation CIC launched in June 2015. The CIC was set up to continue the work of artistic collaboration that developed in the Staffordshire area, and to provide support, arts strategy and community engagement where there were perceived gaps in provision of the arts within communities.
