St Annes Church was built 150 years ago by the local mining community of Burntwood. Our project will celebrate the local heritage and engage community members through collection and recording of narratives and memories. This will be visually communicated to the wider community via a new media, light and sound artwork presented in a public community event which will see the production of a son et lumiere onto the façade and interior of the architecture of the church. The work will be presented by Luxmuralis

the artwork will feature film work on the mining heritage, WW1 and the heritage of the church itself
