The Boat House Art Space has been a project developed by The Sculpture and Art Foundation cic.
An old Boat House that sits in the beautiful vista of Stowe Pool in Lichfield gets transformed regularly and used by creative people who get inspired by the unique space in this tranquil setting.
The Sculpture and Art Foundation CIC gives artists the opportunity to use the space creatively to showcase their work, using the space for creative practice and to engage members of the public with creative and inspirational installation artworks sporadically. Each time the doors open people get to see something new and different being created in the space.
Here are some examples over the recent years of come of the creative things our artists have achieved using the boathouse art space for the duration of their residency periods:
Artworks featured above were created by the following artists all whom have had individual residencies at the boathouse art space:
Sophia Moseley
Peter Walker
Hannah Golding
Andy Nash
