Sculpture Workshops 2009
Sculptor and Artist Peter Walker (Director of the Sculpture and Art Foundation CIC) worked with around 50 students from Netherstowe High School in order to help them to learn more about the processes and stages of developing public art and in order that they might make their own large sculptures. During a 3-day project around 10 large-scale cardboard sculptures were produced. The students learned how to make small models and then how to make these into large scale sculptural artworks. They were designing these works to help inspire a sculpture to be displayed at their school later in the year.
